What comes through is Saurabh's knowledge of the process and mechanics of the running of courts in India. Annu Kapoor who is pitted against Akshay Kumar is taut in his act, but the man who delivers the perfect courtroom pitch with witty one liners and strong screen command is the Judge played by Saurabh Shukla. However, she commits suicide after he dupes. He begins as slippery eel out to make it big and ends up as protector of the law and the transformation is energetic and robust. A pregnant widow, Hina, whose husband is murdered, seeks legal help from Jagdishwar Mishra, a small-time lawyer. From the look to the walk and the talk he has got the small town lawyer down pat. Yet again Akshay Kumar makes his character Jagdishwar Mishra completely believable. While the story may not be as sharp as the original Jolly LLB the second part certainly keeps us engaged with powerhouse performances and witty one liners that kept me watching the action and laughing at the same time more on bollywood pataka.
